Randy
I've got the 45. Not many people probably have a copy. It is a bit rare. Not a bad song.
LostControl
I have a copy - on CD from another EC board member. I liked the song - my husband thought the music was great but the lyrics a bit over the top. That is - until I told him what the song was for - then he understood. marvin
I have the 45. The song's sentiments are nice (I believe Fred Carmen co-wrote the lyrics), and that's about all the redeeming qualities I can think of at this moment. <img border="0" alt="[blech!]" title="" src="graemlins/blech.gif" /> Marvin
Art
I like that song! Have the 45 (on Cool Records), and Bernie did post the MP3 a few months ago. Being from Cleveland, it is one of my favorites. I also think Bernie posted a Quicktime video of a live performance of "The Rock Stops Here", as I can't think of anywhere else I could have gotten that. mymooladi
I have the 45 too, thanks to a good friend. A great song. June
Tony Cartmill
I always thought the music was mixed way down and needed to be up in your face with a little harder edge. And of course there's Marvin's favorite 80's drum sound...I guess Eric wanted to make sure everyone could hear the clever lyrics, hence the wimpy music mix.
