Of course I love both songs, but I prefer I Wanna Be With You because it seems to flow better, has more consistent energy, while GATW sounds like at ballad at times, rock song at other times. darlene Posted September 21, 2002 Share Posted September 21, 2002 I voted for "I Wanna Be With You" because besides being such an infectiously joyful happy happy song, I always loved the high note Eric hit on "so BAD," that at live performances I always made sure I was in the front row, and whenever that note came up I would look way up and he would smile.
