stringer
Live music, new music, new concerts, life doesn't get much better. Now if SugarBabi gets well, all will be heavenly this year!
darlene
Oh, my heart! Reading this, I can't BREATHE!!!!!!!It just gets better and better, like I knew it would. "Raspberries was meant to be..."There's a Jewish word for that...it sounds like "ba - SHARE" or something like that. (Help me out here, please, Ira--what is the word?) It means something was meant to be. I don't know if it's Hebrew or Yiddish, but it certainly applies here.Like I always say, it may take a lot longer than we would like, but everything works out the way it was supposed to in its own time, and works out better than it would have the first time around. If Scott Fitzgerald had been a Raspberries fan, he would never have said there are no second chances in America. Scott, all you need is to believe, and you get your FIRST chance, just a little bit later Whatever, there's been NO better time to be a Razz or EC fan! Maybe even the "labels" weren't supposed to wake up until now. This WILL happen! CHEERS!!!! --Darlene
darlene
PS I'm not surprised that "labels" are interested, considering the obvious admiration for the music exhibited by the musicians of note who attended the shows. After attending, they all had nothing but admiration to express, especially Bruce. There has to be a buzz about them going on in the industry, since NOTHING that happens in the music industry happens in a vacuum. All I can say is,"Hallelujah!" It's *time* labels woke up to the buzz! What took them so long?! --D

Tony Cartmill
Would it breech national security to name the producer that is working on the project? I would think he/she'd be proud to be working on the project. Unless Eric's worried about another "Boats..." or Geffen producer conflict...Produced by Rick Rubin, errrrrrrr, Produced by Mark Linett, errrrrrrr, Produced by Raspberries, errrrrrrrr, Produced by Eric Carmen, Associate Producer: Raspberries.
Paulie Mississippi
I know it's probably really important, but it could be produced by Huckleberry Hound and I'd still line up to buy it!
Gene
I missed a shot with Rick Springfield and the band in LA due to a special request. On behalf of the sound engineer/recording-guy I was chasing down Mrch and Jim B. It seems the fellow was reeeeeally wanting some Raspberrie t-shirts. When I got back he had packed up his Tascams. I hope he got some merchandise.

darlene
I'm content to be thrilled with what's been able to be told at this time. I'd rather let it all "percolate" naturally and savor the joyful outcome at the end. While I'd love to know what's going on, I'd rather wait until all the details are set in place than asking for details and jeopardizing or jinxing anything. Have you ever noticed how Razz fans' gratification levels don't last too long? Relax! All will be revealed in good time... Just be happy. --Darlene
Paulie Mississippi
"Have you ever noticed how Razz fans' gratification levels don't last too long?"I'm not sure it's just us. It seems like life has conditioned us to want more and more and faster and faster (and sometimes harder and harder too!) ;-)
Ecstasy
I think a live CD with standards and covers would be great! But I have to say I'd REALLY LOVE to see a DVD of the Chicago House of Blues show I missed!!! I'm not unreasonable --- I'll take the next best thing! Argee
Why even waste the time with CD media. Just mix the thing, put the files up online for a price and let us download it and burn our own copies and/or put it on our IPODS and save the money spent on distribution/materials etc.
Bill C
No way! I want the artwork and the track listing and the cover and the liner notes and that disky thing that they put in there.
hosskratz
I agree with Marvin. One of Gene Taylor's photos from LA shows a fan holding a lighter up in the air for an encore, it would make a great cd cover.
Bob Allen
PLEEEEZE...no lighters up in the air. That's such a cliched, '70s thing thing to do...could never stand (or understand) that little ritual...it's right in line with sporting a mullet I guess. (One would expect it at, say, a 38 Special or REO Speedwagon show, but at a Raspberries concert? Dear god no.)
Paulie Mississippi
Being associatd with the '70's isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I agree with Bob; the CD's art needs to be a cut above; if it's going to reek, let it reek of class! Trindy
Agh, wouldn't you know that one of the concerts I *didn't* attend is the one that's going to be on any CD we ever get...Oh well, right now I'll take it any way I can get it!
