Lew Bundles
Heard from a little birdie that there may be video available from Eric's appearance on Hee Haw(with Mandrell)...Is this true?...And does anyone know if Hee Haw is currently being rerun anywhere?... Raspbernie
It's cute…just a little musical duet with Louise Mandrell performing "As Long As We've Got Each Other." Eric's not wearing a straw hat or wearing a pair of overalls or anything :-) Just a cute little music video, back before they called 'em such.Bernie

Julie
Bumping up this thread-- My folk's DVR Hee Haw all the time--it's on RFD-TV on DirecTV. Does anyone know who besides Eric and Louise may have been on this episode? Trying to figure out a way to put it into a "to do list" search. If there was someone more famous than Eric on that episode (hard to imagine!) it might be easier to find it. --Juie
Julie
Well, I have been doing a little searching and Louise Mandrell is the key to finding this episode. She was on Hee Haw quite a bit. Anyway, looks like it's possibly on Season 21, episode 17. They play one new Hee Haw on RFD-TV per week and they appear to be in order (my folks had a lot of episodes on the DVR). Anyway, at this rate, it will probably be about 5 years before they air it *sigh* Looks like there are 24 seasons of Hee Haw. Yowza! There is an episode guide on TV.com.
paperdoll82
Oh, that show was on FOREVER! I remember seeing it before I was old enough to go to school up until I had my first job and apartment after college. I'd love to see the Eric clip. And the cornfield one — wouldn't that be something?!? Cheryl
Mary Ellen
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=emZP9LHKqSI I'd like to find that appearance too...wanted to post the above duet again. Would love to hear/see Eric sing this song with his more "roughed up" voice which is mesmerizing to this girl. And perhaps done with a more complementary female voice. Think it would rock. <3
Raspbernie
If I remember correctly, Eric did tell me he remembered filming some scenes in the "Corn Field." Probably best that those scenes have never surfaced Bernie
AnneNR
Would the "cornfield bits" be like the hidden films that most actors and actresses fear get dug up and broadcast all over the media, and ends up embarrassing them? Why should Mr. Carmen be any different from anyone else in that way --- I say find "the cornfield" he was filmed in!! AnneNR
