D-Day!

Recommended Posts

Eric; I've had my deluxe edition ordered since day one (I remember... December 13, my Dad died and Raspberries officially returned to life...

I can't wait to hear the CD... I'd be at a store today buying another but I'm on a business trip to Africa (and due in a meeting in just a few minutes...) so I'll have to wait a few more days I guess. frown

Congratulations however I'm sure are in order... this is gonna be big, I can feel it. The positive buzz... I don't think I ever read so many reviews of a pending Raspberries (or EC for that matter) release up to this one.

Now... ride that success! Concert tour. New material. Etc... laugh

Happy July 31st indeed.

Hey Eric,

Thanks to you and Wally and Jim and Dave -- thanks from all of us who are optimists by nature and who "never say never." The new release is a nice bit of redemption after all these years. I hope the rave reviews keep coming --- and that it all adds up to some more live dates. What could be more fun?

Happy 35th Anniversary to "Go All The Way," too, which hit the Billboard chart for the first time July 1, 1972, remaining there for 18 weeks and peaking at #5 (it went to #4 in Cashbox and to #3 in Record World).

It ranks at #91 in SPIN magazine's "100 Greatest Singles Of All-Time" list at http://www.rocklist.net/spin100.html . Not bad for four mods from Cleveland!

May "Live On Sunset Strip" go all the way, too.

I have to admit, if someone told me that one day I'd get the chance to walk into a store and pick up a brand spankin' NEW CD with "RASPBERRIES" emblazoned on it some thirty years after the band broke up, I'd have said, "Sure. when Hell freezes over!" Well folks, the devil has his hat and gloves on this morning. Congrats, Eric, Wally, Dave and Jim.

What do you say we buy some "records" today? smile

My wife has every t.v. in the house on CNN today. At lunch, its off to BestBuy. Imagine....another Raspberries album - they will always be "albums" to me. I have already opened up two trays in my car's CD changer. This is all so, so cool. Thank you Eric, Wally, Dave, Jim, Bernie, Ken, Overdubs, Roadies, Mark and everyone else involved with this new production and journey.

Congratulations Eric, Wally, Jim & Dave!!!

I can only imagine how great it must feel for you guys to have this day finally get here and have a new Raspberries CD in the stores after all these years. It really is quite an accomplishment.

And many cheers to your families, the Overdubs, your crew, Mark Linett and everybody that helped make the reunion shows and this album possible!
