Bessieboo
That is one of favorite video's so far. Is that the same pretty blond from IWHFYL?
Julie
That was great, Bernie! And, may I add that Eric's hair was much prettier than the blonde's!

Bessieboo
The funny thing is In 1985, I wore my hair in the same style. It was more work but I really loved it. Go to go, I have a nail and hair appointment in a hour. Hmmmm maybe I'll.....
Don H
That one song made the whole album worth while! Thanks Bernie..
Steeler Deb
As a cosmetologist, I also agree with Julie. Eric's hair is much prettier than the blonde's.
AnniekNY
I was watching "Shampoo" the other day and I couldn't help but think of Eric the whole movie...I think Eric's version of the hairstyle was better though - fuller and more styled. raspathens
That song is right up there with Boats, Let's Pretend and I Can Remember. That blond really muscled our friend when she grabbed him by the suspenders.
raspathens
And another thing. You never let the other person leave with a closed suitcase. That look she's giving him as she's about to go is "Sing away big guy, I've got your watches, cash and cufflinks."
aggiesjc
Love this video. I have it on VHS, and recently converted it to DVD. Beautiful song, beautiful hair.

darlene
This is, by far, my favorite Eric video. The song is so beautiful and the video so perfectly portrays the emotions expressed in ITWL. Thanks for the the "gift" Bernie. And thanks, Eric, for the *original* gift--the music and the video! --Darlene
Tony Cartmill
I remember that from it's short run on VH1 back in the day. Good concept, great song, fair acting...but so much 80's hair, I thought I was gonna cough up a hairball just watching it.
Kirk
Great vid! One of my favorite songs of Eric's! Kirk.

Raspbernie
Here's a higher-quality clip of Eric performing "I'm Through With Love" on Solid Gold that was mentioned last week as a "must see" video on YouTube. Check it out: SOLID GOLD Bernie
AnneG
The minimalist decor in that video certainly echos the lyrical sentiments of wanting to be alone!
danmichel
I'm Through With Love is one of Eric Carmen's finest songs...It's lack of chart success was more than anything due to timing...If it were released a couple of years later it would have been a top ten hit, guaranteed...But the Dirty Dancing phenomenon was still yet to come...I believe this song is ripe for a big time cover.
