mannoman
I remember tuning in at the middle of a TV documentary (I think it was on PBS) about 30-31 years ago which was about The Raspberries and the making of their 'new' song "Tonight." I don't think VCRs were available at the time and I never saw a repeat of the program. Perhaps Eric has it in his personal archives. Boy, I love to have a copy of that show. Anybody remember that one (or are you all too young).
darlene
So would I. Now you have me wondering. Does Eric remember making such a documentary (or anyone making one about "Tonight")? Hope it's floating around out there somewhere, and someone finds it. Maybe it will show up in a locker in Topeka, KS...? --D
Tom
I believe I saw this very same "documentary".I was in trade school...circa 1973...we had an assembly and they showed us a film about the music business. The featured performer was the Raspberries and it took them through the process of recording a song. What vividly stands out in my mind is the Capital Records Bld. I had never seen anything quite like that and as I recall the camera zooms/pans in from a helocopter or plane.

seattlesteve
I think so, weren't they also interviewing Jimmy Ienner during it to. I think they also broke down the tracks of Let's Pretend which was kind of interesting.Seattle Steve
