Just heard Shaun Cassidy on XM 70's

Speaking of Shaun Cassidy (in case anyone doesn't know it, he covered Eric's "That's Rock 'n' Roll" and "Hey Deanie"), his Shaun Cassidy Productions produces the current Top 10 ABC-TV hit "Invasion" (he's also the executive producer and a co-writer of the series).

Just a bit of trivia sci-fi/Eric fans...

The show you're referring to, Paulie, Is "American Gothic," created and written by Shaun. It ran for one season on CBS and starred Gary Cole, best known as Mike Brady in the Brady Bunch movies and the boss in "Office Space." It also featured Jake Weber (the husband on "Medium") and Lucas Black (the kid in "Sling Blade.")

It was a cool show, spooky and thought-provoking. Cole played a sherrif who maybe was the devil. Perhaps they'll put it out on DVD some day (they seem to be putting out every other TV show!)

I fondly remember Shaun's last album, "Wasp," produced by Todd Rundgren and featuring Utopia as the backup band. It started with a truly bizarre cover of Bowie's "Rebel Rebel" sung in falsetto. Wish they'd put that one out on CD!
