AC "New and Improved" Meet and Greet tix still available!

Hi everyone - I'm told there was some confusion around contradicting statements made by the venue (imagine that!!) about whether there are any more tickets available that include both the concert and the Meet and Greet...well there ARE still some tickets left!!

And this is the new and improved Meet and Greet, which will be held Saturday AFTERNOON.

You'll receive an autographed 8X10 color concert photo from the first reunion shows last fall, you'll meet and greet the band and have your picture taken by our photographer. Then you're invited to STAY AND WATCH THE SOUND CHECK, which should last about an hour!!!

This is a very cool opportunity - Get your tickets while they're still available. Due to time limitations the band can't sign items you bring to the Meet and Greet.

Also because of time limitations there can only be a limited number of M & G tickets sold, so when they're gone...

Thanks,

Al

Someone told me to check the HOB site. They had 2 $100 tix Section 201 Rows A&B. Sounds like the seats are in different rows, not together.

I bought them. I called HOB A.C. and they would not confirm what those tix entail. Told me to go to www.signatures.net. I did that and error, web page won't display. I called them back and told them and they still wouldn't confirm what $100 tix are, told me to go to www.raspberries.net.

How do I find out what time m&g and soundcheck are? Go to HOB first thing in morning? We're arriving Friday nite...

Thanks and All The Best,

Joyce

This sounds strange (i.e. typical HOB). The M&G tickets are $100 whereas balcony seating is $57? So the M&G premium is only $47? There is no indication on the hob website that the $100 tickets includes any perks. Great seat location, tho.

I also noticed that today (Tuesday) they are offering 2 for 1 GA tickets: buy 1, get 1 free.

FYI,

I haven't received any info on how any of this is going to work. I trust further details will be posted soon, but what about fans who bought Meet & Greet tickets that do NOT regularly visit this website? How will *they* know what to do? HoB has absolutely no information on their website, nor does any info accompany the MEET & GREET tickets.

Just a heads up from the crew; Sound check is scheduled to be around 2:00 pm. I would assume that by Friday we will have everything in place regarding the time schedule. I would also assume that it will be posted on this site as well as the Raspberries.Net site. As for the HOB site, I wouldn't even want to assume anything. So those of you with the M & G tickets I guess we will see you Saturday afternoon.

As yes, sound check is a really different experience. I know, I have been to them all.

To clarify - the $100.00 M&G tix anyone bought at HOB.com are the only way to get into the M & G. HOB totally runs the sale of these tix. HOB was (and still is) supposed to e-mail those who purchased tix with M & G details. The details I posted at the beginning of this thread are accurate. Here's some more details:

I believe the soundcheck is at 2pm, so we're asking all M & Ger's to arrive at the club at about 12:30 (90 minutes prior to soundcheck). We'll get you organized for the M & G (give you a wristband, get you in line, etc.) which will begin about 1 hour prior to soundcheck (while Roadie #3 and co. are readying the stage for the band), or at about 1pm. You'll receive an autographed photo, get to meet and greet the band and have a photo taken by Gene. As with the NY M & G, the photos will be available about one week after the show in the "Meet and Greet" section of the "Raspberries" tab on EC.com.

I hope this answers some of the questions and clears up some of the confusion.

Thanks,

Al

So, once again, the people who bought tickets in the beginning are screwed. If they were only going to offer meet and greets with a $100.00 ticket, that should have been posted day one. I know this is the HOB, not the band, but this kind of constant "we don't know what the hell we're doing" excuse by HOB is getting old. They're keeping the band from making as much as they could on ticket sales, cuz if there were separate meet and greet tickets, a lot of us would buy them. I'm not going to buy two hundred dollar tickets in addition to the ones I have and *hope* I'll be able to sell the ones I have. Their policies suck. grumpy

It IS frustrating. If they had posted day one that $100.00 tickets would include the meet and greet, a lot of us would have bought $100.00 tickets, but they just made it sound like "you'll get a better seat", and with stadium seating, we'll all be able to see the band pretty well, so the less expensive tickets were the way to go for some of us.

Now, 3 friggin' days before the show we're told if we want the meet and greet we have to buy a $100.00 ticket if we don't have one. I think the LEAST they could do would be to offer to exchange the $57.00 tickets for the $100.00 ones as long as there are $100.00 ones available.

I've been at yard sales that were more organized than HOB.

Again, I know this isn't the fault of the band. I'm sure it frustrates them as much or more than it does us. frown
