I've mentioned this before....

It seems that the momentum has stalled. I saw Raspberries in the summer of 2005 in Cleveland. Like many of you , I thought they were on to something. I was pumped. Maybe new material? Maybe a new cd? Expanded tour? Well, here we are 2 years later and really NOTHING. I don't get it. How about a new cd with 10-12 newly written songs ? We want more! We want more!

New music would be great, but I don't think there is a plan for that, at least until everyone sees what type of numbers the DVD will put up. Right now, the first concern for everyone should be getting Dave back to health and let's take it from there. I'm sure some concerts (at least Cleveland, Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles) will happen to help promote the DVD when Dave is feeling up to it.

I agree...I felt the same way after seeing the NYC show in July, and then the HOB Atlantic City show. Awesome! I couldn't stop talking about the Berries to all my friends, coworkers, anyone who would listen. I kept hoping for more tour dates....name the place and I'd be there. Now, it seems I'll simply have to relive those memories when the DVD arrives in the mail. Can't wait, but seeing the guys live is so so so much better. Hope it happens soon.

I was disappointed that a whole new tour didn't start up the following year, but I never felt as though it were going away, and I still don't. I agree with Pat. As soon as Dave is completely back to robust health, I can see more dates in the future to get things going after the DVD comes out.

Remember, the band said "baby steps," and the DVD isn't even out yet. When the momentum from that release gets going, I have a feeling new music will gradually creep into the picture. A new cd/dvd, the new website and frequent updates will tide us over till then. And, Pat, those promotional shows you propose sound TERRRRRRRIFFFICCCC!!!!

Um, don't forget New England.... Boston is the home of Ryko Records, after all....
