mannoman
The only tix T'master posted when I got on was GA floor - I selected Best Available and that was what came up. They had posted beforehand that it was standing room only.Ted

Argee
Yes, no balcony today. I opted not to stand this time. Would have loved to be there but alas. I am happy that I saw them last week and hope they do another show although I am sure the 160 or so seats will fly fast. Maybe someday they will play a place with 2000 seats LOL! Raspbernie
Did anyone try calling for a dinner package? My guess is that the House of Blues may be holding balcony seats for dinner guests, but I could be wrong. It's worth a shot if you were hoping for a seat :-) If you want to get in on a dinner/concert combo call ASAP: 216-523-BLUE.Bernie
BadfingerBarb
Hey Gene, We actually took some small group photos at the HoF last Saturday. My roll of film hasn't been developed yet but some of the others had digital cameras so I'm surprised I haven't seen or heard about those yet. Gene
How 'bout on the street in front of the HoB, before the show. We need a good "appointment" time. If everyone is in town early enuf, before sunset would be good, photographically speaking.
mymooladi
Hi all, June called @ 10:00 & finally got off hold @10:20, but Nope, no balcony seats available for dinner guests. They wouldn't answer straight if they had balcony seats for dinner guests at all, or not. Well, we did grab a couple of extra GA tickets, in case some worthy soul needs them. /Jim for June
mannoman
Bernie - If I heard Laura M. correctly (yesterday) the dinner and the concert are separate not a combo -and there will NOT be a "pass the line", bummer.Ted
AnniekNY
No...no...no!June is going if i have to piggyback her all night!!!Can't we (listen to me - "we" as if I own the HOB!)put her wheelchair on the side of the stage or something?Gene - how about 4:30-5 p.m. in front of the HOB? What is sunset in Cleveland in Dec??
Jackie
I went down to the box office at House Of Blues this morning. They told me also that the dinner purchase did not enable one to pass the line. I got my GA tickets yesterday on the presale and was able to buy the dinner ticket separately today. mannoman
My concern is if you have dinner at the HoB we might have to go outside afterwards to get in line. The outside line for the Les Paul concert was down Euclid (the night after the Razz), around the corner on 4th(?) street and approx. 50 feet past the entrance to the HoB restaurant. Not a good experience in my humble opinion. It could be bitter cold on NYE.Suggestions anyone??? Do the Clevelanders have some words of wisdom for us loyal Raspberrie out-of-towners?Ted
Argee
I asked them if President Bush was coming to the show if they would have balcony seats for him and they told me "of course". I then told them he was not coming and I would take his seats!Drum rollThank you Henny Youngman
Jeff
So, also I could not get a balcony ticket, but did buy 2 GA tickets . I assume that balcony seats were not a possiblity at all online? Also, well before the tix went on sale, the "coments" mentioned that there were only GA seats available. I will try in the aftermarket to get balcony seats, so I may have 2 GA tix for sale if they sell out.Any other thoughts about how to procure balcony seats? mannoman
Argee - too funny - you and Wally should have a stand up routine. "Ladies and gentlemen Heeeeeeeere's Argee and Wally" (applause).Ted
PowerPopJames
Mannoman,I was downtown the night after the show as well, my girl and I went to the lighting of the square ceremony. I wanted to take a picture of the HOB marquee that read "Raspberries - SOLD OUT" and saw the same line you did, but it was actually for a band called Hoobastank which was playing after Les Paul. I KNOW Les Paul does not have THAT devout a following of teenagers! My only advice is, dress warm! Wish I could be there again, but my girl and I already had plans for NYE. Have fun everyone, can't wait to read the posts!
mannoman
James, thanks for the clarification - I knew that couldn't be a Les Paul crowd, it was too young - but the line was loooong. It was very chilly that night and one gal had what looked like a tube top on. She didn't appear to be cold either. Yeoowiee. My Florida blood has trouble when the temp dips below 70 (and it was 58 this morning).Ted
mymooladi
Annie that is the sweetest thing I have ever heard. Thanks so much for your concern. I really don't want a wheelchair; I won't be able to see much. I might have to call to see what they have for handicap but really hate to go that route at all. Don't worry about me some how I manage. I can't believe how wonderful everyone has been to me here. Thanks so much.June
