Batman
Very sad news. His first wife was actress Jill Ireland, whom later married actor Charles Bronson, both also deceased. Illya Kuryakin made David one of television's first heartthrobs back in 1965. I also enjoyed his role as medical examiner Donald "Ducky" Mallard on NCIS. RIP David. Thanks Matthew.

Batman
I met Robert Vaughn (Napoleon Solo) in a hotel while I was attending a professional convention in Las Vegas in 2000. He was a complete rude a**hole. This was a guy I idolized since 1965 and he reacted like I was a leper after only saying, "Hello Mr. Vaughn. I am a huge fan". He looked at me with contempt and told me to get out of his way as he walked past me. I stopped idolizing him after that chance encounter. On the same trip a day later I saw Mike Tyson in the casino at Caesar's Palace near a craps table. I said hello and he walked over to me, put his hand out to shake, and said God Bless You. What a contrast. Mr. Suave Robert Vaughn and Mr. Tough Guy Mike Tyson. Don't judge a book by its cover.

Doreen
I met Robert Vaughn (Napoleon Solo) in a hotel while I was attending a professional convention in Las Vegas in 2000. He was a complete rude a**hole. Hmmm...I met him also at a convention and we had a lovely talk about the old Whalom Playhouse and when he used to do summer stock there. Guess he prefers girls..... I've seen "Ducky" on NCIS so many times and didn't realize that he was Illya on Man from U.N.C.L.E.
