Lew Bundles
Let’s pretend that it’s official..Ec announces his retirement or worse yet, is unable to write or record anymore(death…accident…illness…legal entanglement, etc.. His friends decide to arrange for some artists to record an EC song as a track for a tribute cd and ask us-his fans-for recommendations…But, the acts have to have a history of stylistically being appropriate with the original recording…I.e. no AC-DC doing All By Myself or Michael Buble doing No Hard Feelings… I’ll open it up with : Take It Or Leave It-Rod Stewart… Give me your best suggestion…

James
Ok, I'm going to add another: Rita Coolidge, doing "Boats against the Current". With the right producer, and if she stayed within the melody, she could knock it out of the park. Her voice is perfect for the song.

susie b
Are we including ANY song written by EC, including Raspberries' tunes? Ok, I'm waving my magic wand and giving Brian Wilson his voice from his younger years and allowing him to do what he did best to Let's Pretend.
