Lew Bundles
Sorry to steal Craig’s spotlight... Since 1950, there have been over 700 charted Billboard #1 hits... In that same time period, there have been 176 male/female duets that have charted in the top 40... BUT, there have only been seven #1 songs that have listed the females names FIRST on the credits before the males... Who or what songs are they?...
Kirk
I'm guessing Islands in the Stream with Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers is one of them but I don't really know...
Lew Bundles
No it’s not...Rogers name is officially listed first...All seven of these number one’s came between 1965 and 1987...
susie b
Had the 45 in the family, but I haven't seen it in years. I do believe Frank Sinatra was a gentleman and placed daughter Nancy's name first on Something Stupid. Not a Frank fan, but love this song.

James
Barbara Streisand and Barry Gibb, the song whose lyrics include "we've got nothing to be guilty for.........."....maybe called "Emotion"? Dionne Warwick and The Spinners, can't remember the name of the song. Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty, "Stop Dragging my Heart around"? Olivia Newton John and Cliff Richard (I think it was Cliff Richard) , "Suddenly" Olivia Newton and John Travolta, "You're the one that I want" Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta, "Summer Lovin'"

James
Like you, I´m not a fan of Frank Sinatra, just as I am not a fan of John Gotti. Having said that, that is a great song he did with his daughter. Everyone has good in them, even mafiaosos like Frank Sinatra. P.S. I wonder what the wife of a garment district biz owner, who was killed cuz he wouldn´t to the Mafia´s bidding, ...wonder what she thought when she´d see America worshipping Frank Sinatra?
