Matthew C. Clark
I saw Ian Mitchell's Bay City Rollers in Bay City, Michigan (either in August 2008 or 2009). Ian had a stomach ache though BUT came back to perform.

susie b
So sad to hear this news, and I send my thoughts and prayers to our Wendy-Ann. Ian was recruited to replace founding BCR member Alan Longmuir in 1976. Ian left the band after about six or seven months and was replaced by Pat McGlynn. Ian was also a member of Rosetta Stone, and in the late 1980's he joined fellow BCR alum, Stuart "Woody" Wood, and played with The Passengers. susie b
This is Dedication, the BCR song which Wendy-Ann quoted in her announcement of Ian's passing. Yes, Wendy-Ann, I will remember your wonderful husband with a very warm smile as will his many other fans around the world whose hearts he touched. ♥️🎸🇮🇪🏴🇺🇲 This is Ian's version. After he left the band, the complete lead vocals were re-recorded by Les McKeown for the 45 release and subsequent album pressings, but it is Ian's version on the original pressing of the Dedication album. Former Raspberries producer, Jimmy Ienner oversaw this project and included a cover of Let's Pretend.
Batman
Very sad news. My heartfelt condolences to Wendy. I remember her fondly from the "good old days" of EC.com, when the reunion tours were in full swing and this place was full of activity and many great friendships were forged. Rest in peace, Ian. 1
