Elizabeth4C
Way, way back in the day, the Boston Symphony Orchestra had a conductor named Arthur Feidler. He wanted more people to enjoy the classics, so he started free summer outdoor concerts called the Pops. He played popular music and then snuck in some classical pieces. When I listen to many of Eric's songs, I think about how he "educated" us in classical music while entertaining us with his wonderful songs. Any chance Eric will write a new Rock Opera or Rock Symphony?"For once in my life, I'm gonna do what I think is right...I think I found myself"
Cynthiaalma
Hi Elizabeth4C, I remember Arthur Feidler. I grew up in Massachusetts. That would be so cool if Eric would write something on those lines! He is very schooled at Classical Music!!cynthiaalma
Mary Ellen
Wouldn't THAT be a wonderful turn of events? ??
Raspbernie
He certainly could do it. Whether he has the time or the desire is the question. But his skill set as both a trained classical pianist and pop song master gives him the tools he'd need to write one heck of an opus!Bernie
