Murray Saul R.I.P.

Recommended Posts

Anybody who lives, or lived, in Cleveland during the 1970's knew who Murray was. Every Friday evening he would welcome in the weekend with his wild rants about the "slave-driver boss" and becoming a cheerleader to "Get Down!" on WMMS radio.

A Cleveland radio icon, for sure!

He sounds like quite a character! I know my Detroit rock roots pretty well but need to fill in the blanks for my Cleveland rock history knowledge. Brian, do you know of any resources for me? Would you recommend the books "Buzzard" by John Gorman or "Cleveland Rock & Roll Memories" by Carlo Wolff? Any suggestions? Hell, I can probably just read about it online, huh?
