Eric Carmen
Yesterday, the review in "American Songwriter" that I posted, along with my comments, was sited as having been written by one "Evan Schlansky." Today, the review's author has been changed to "Hal Horowitz." Very strange.
Teresa1960
I suppose there was possibly an error when the article was posted online and after getting your reply "Evan" had it corrected?
Raspbernie
Not sure what music Evan likes to listen to when he's not reviewing discs, but he gave a reissue of this John Martyn (who?) gem 5 stars. Great lyrics. Bernie

Eric Carmen
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!????!!??!!??? Five stars, eh??????? So, let's see.....Note to self: For my next recording, I must be sure to use no more than three chords, fill my mouth with a beanbag, and shoot heroin. Lyrics must be unintelligible. No melody allowed. Must sound like I'm about to fall asleep in my chair. Got it! Five stars for me, next time!
Teresa1960
@Eric... Oh, how I wish we could see the expression on your face when you viewed these videos. Like you said in an earlier post "the bar has been lowered", well, now we have proof of how low it really is. Sadly, these were very painful. Hugs bugs... adelia215
I'm dyslexic -- at first I read as "SOILED Air" Yeah, very soggy... You may have gotten it right, "soiled", reminds me of some parties I went to at Ohio State back in the '70's, everything was a little hazy.
Mary Ellen
So if you remember the 60s you weren't really there? It applies to some of the 70s too I think. Maybe put on those "Rose Coloured Glasses" sometimes - especially if you're talking to your kids.
