ira
So sad...Kodak...long a a symbol of American technological innovationis now another symbol of American lack of technological innovation and foresight.I gotta go now.I'm watchin' Mr. Ed on my Admiral T.V. and then I'm gonna go listen to my Philco radio.Later I'm gonna type some letters on my Remington Rand http://www.nydailynews.com/news/132-year...ksEnabled=false
Paulie Mississippi
Some icon's fade to make room for others/progress... Kodak though... that's a tough one... almost like if Chevy or Ford went under (though... the government wouldn't let that one happen)

ira
I also feel bad for the city of Rochester...home of Kodak.Western N.Y. State ALWAYS had a crappy winter climate...but with the demise of manufacturing...Think Billy Joel's "Allentown"...there's been an amazing decrease in population...and an amazing decrease in hope for a better future.... BlondeVelvet
There's a lot of fear and anxiety in Rochester right now. I see it covered almost nightly on the Buffalo news channels. So many people out of a good job, with bleak prospects for the future. Way too much of that happening. BRING THE JOBS BACK TO AMERICA!!!
