Well I set my new vcr/dvd recorder last night to tape the show, had my mom also tape in another room - between the two of us - mine did nothing but a blank screen, she decided to change the channel on her tv and then realized she had screwed up the video lol - finally I did an On Demand this morning at 4:30 am and just hit the record button and left the tv on and went out to the gym. I'm watching it right now and am really enjoying it! George was a wonderful guy and quite funny in his own right. Can't wait until Part 2 tonight!

Well... to be honest, MJ. I was a little disappointed. It told me nothing about George that I didn't already know. I figured that with Martin Scorsese doing the honors....I would find out some things I never knew....Don't get me wrong....I think he did a great job with the interviews but I just think George was a hard nut to crack in that he didn't let on much to people. I always thought there was a bit of mystery to George.

Giro, the show was GREAT to someone like me who knows very little about George Harrison. I can hardly wait until tonight to learn even more!!

Because of the thimble full of info I knew about George Harrison, I took an in-depth look into Krishna!! I can understand how and why he chose that path...

Well I can honestly say I shed a few tears again for George - reliving his life and then watching the people who loved him talk about him still makes it very sad. Thank god the music will last throughout our lifetimes and we can keep him and all of the other great musicians throughout time alive.

What a great four hours that was. Made me laugh, made me cry, made me pull out the George Harrison catalogue (that was never too far away, anyway!). So much rare footage that even as an ultimate Beatle freak, I had never seen before.

My only regrets in it were two things. I wished they included more concert footage from the 1974 tour, which I never knew existed (and where is the rest of that for a future DVD?) and the other thing is, I wish they had touched on the "My Sweet Lord" copyright lawsuit, which I feel impacted and hurt George deeply, and was quite unfair in my eyes, when they ruled he subliminally lifted it from "He's So Fine". While you might say that was a negative in his career, he did write the comical tune "This Song" over it, which included the great line, "this song is in E", just in case anyone wanted to steal it and did a hysterical video of himself in court! So, it clearly was something of note to him.

Overall, I thought it was fantastic, and long overdue!
