Any cat lovers out there?

Just got back from a weekend in the Tehachapi Mountains...spent Sunday afternoon with our closest neighbor- she's a big cat lover. Did I say BIG cat lover?

This kitty is 75 lbs. of Siberian Lynx. We've known her since she was a kitten.

What a cat. I like cats, but I'm alergic to some.

Where I used to live, I saw a bobcat at least twice. There were also coyotes, rabbits. And quail birds were around in the fall season. Along with the racoons.

Little cats were kept inside by the neighbors, because of the coyotes. When they howl at night, it means they are coming down.

You can never forget the fact that she is indeed a wild animal. I respect that at all times while handling her. The other thing is, she really doesn't like men, except for me (thankfully)!

There are several things she eats, among them turkey necks. There is a canned food called 'zoopreme' that some of the cats eat.

This cat has been to many of the local schools and used for educating kids on cats in the wild. Not so much lately...she's 18 years old and semi-retired smile

She's the ultimate kitty!

I am an avid cat lover. Lynx are beautiful creatures, surely God's best handiwork in my opinion. All cats are gorgeous and my life would not be the same without our Trixie. He lights up my life and brings so much happiness. I clean for a lady that at the moment, has 9 housecats. 5 of which I never see, because as soon as I come, they connect me with that nasty vacuum cleaner and head for under the bed!

I was the opposite, Chris, I grew up with cats all my life and my husband grew up with both. So when our twins turned 6, we got a dog to add to the family. We already had a cat. Been hooked ever since. Now we have a 3 year old Beagle. He's a cutie. And our cat... Well, he's just "The Boss"! Our first dog, Mindy, lived to be almost 16 years old. We joked that she could soon drive a car.
