ira
Last nite I had my REAL first date in 27 years..(as opposed to fantasy-dates that might be deemed inappropriate for family-viewing on EC.com.She was Canadian. It was really very special-Eh?I must dig canadianchicks...'cause the only other canadianchick that I know is our own Valorie who is one of the finest people I have ever met.Anyhoo..I was so inspired that I just went to Amazon to order "The Best Of The Guess Who"..."Gordon Lightfoot's Greatest"..."Joni Mitchell's Best".."Paul Anka's All-Time-Hits"..."Bachman Turner Overdrive Take Care Of Business"...and the Stampeders "Sweet City Woman And Other Hits". GMan
Hey Ira...I hope you kept your eyes on the road and your hands upon the wheel. You didn't want to scare the poor girl. I'm happy for you buddy. I'm glad the date went well.
Tony Cartmill
Did you ask her the dealbreaker yet?"Isn't Bobby Vee just the greatest singer/musician ever to walk the face of the earth or what?"If her answer is anything but "YES, OH YES!" kick her to the proverbial Canadian Curb...And like GMan said...Don't scare her off! ira
Tony...If they don't like "Take Good Care Of My Baby'...They get ONE more chance...and that's ONLY if they say they enjoy "The Night Has A Thousand Eyes"....If they like neither...they walk home...and I stop at "Papa Johns" to pick up a 3 topping pizza...drive home..and watch "Beach Blanket Bingo" alone at home on DVD. The banter between you two cracks me up! Here's to second chances, Ira! But look at it this way, there are worse things than "Papa Johns" carryout and a little "Beach Blanket Bingo" ... TOMMY TUNES
Speaking of loving all things Canadian; how about the Actress that plays Robin on the TV show "How I met Your Mother". Just about the coolest, cutest girl on TV. Her character is from Canada but I have no idea if the actress herself is from Canada.BTW Good luck Ira. And leave some NJ hotties for me.
