BlondeVelvet
As a hockey fan, I must congratulate the Boston Bruins...2011 Stanley Cup Champions! Winning game 7, in the opponent's (Vancouver) "house", of the final is no cake-walk. I am a Buffalo Sabres fan, but I must give credit where credit is due. The Bruins played their hearts out, and deserve to be the 2011 Champs!Kim

missm
It was was a fantastic series and CONGRATS to the Bruins!! Something tells me that the Boston fans will not celebrate like L.A. fans with rioting and such!
blackhawkpat
Congrats to the Bruins or anyone else that beats Vancouver in my book. Haven't seen a team like the Canucks with so many biters, hair pullers, and scratchers since roller derby fell out of style. The guy (Raffi Torres)who scored the winner in the first game should have been suspended in the first round for a cheap shot....the first game he played after getting suspended for a DIFFERENT cheap shot! The guy (Alex Burrows)who scored the game winner in the second game, bit a guy in the first game and should have been sitting for that!!!! Them losing...AKA...choking couldn't happen to a nicer bunch! I guess their boo-hooing GM (Mike Gillis)couldn't sway the refs in this round, though their coach (Alain Vigneault) certainly tried. Paulie Mississippi
According to reports, the Vancouver fans ain't very well-behaved either... at least not last night!
BlondeVelvet
According to reports, the Vancouver fans ain't very well-behaved either... at least not last night! Things have gotten ugly!! BlondeVelvet
Something tells me that the Boston fans will not celebrate like L.A. fans with rioting and such! Winning championships has become the norm for Boston fans. The Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, & now the Bruins! Their fans are very experienced (spoiled) with the celebrations, & don't feel the need to riot. Now, if the Boston teams should start a severe losing trend..... Yeah, I'm a little jealous! Matthew C. Clark
Back in 1994 when Vancouver lost to the New York Rangers, it was a riot. Back in 2003 when Guns N' Roses lead singer W. Axl Rose didn't show up, they also had a riot!! Matt
TOMMY TUNES
After hearing how Vancouver fans rioted after their Hockey team lost in the 7th game of the Stanley Cup finals I never ever wanna hear about how bad New York Fans are. I have never heard of any rioting after a NY or NJ team won or lost any sports event. What do you have to say about that Marvin, Bahoodore, Canadian Chick OR any Detroit members? canadianchick
Well I would like to send congrats to the better team (although Tommy I find it hard to like any Boston sports Teams). Secondly..the Yankees are my second fav ball team after the Jays.. I have sat at Yankee Stadium and have been treated extremely well by the fans...even tho they knew I was cheering the other team. The fans were great, and we all ribbed each other, but no violence. Thirdly...because I am a Montreal Canadiens fan..I had no desire to watch any of the Stanley Cup finals and didn't. Like anything..it only takes one idiot to start and encourage trouble. Alcohol certainly doesn't help either and I am sure, like all Vancouverites and Canadians... we are not only embarrassed by what happened after the game, but disgusted. (Thank God we didn't have any Congressmen in the mix)
