Sid Posted May 1, 2011 Share Posted May 1, 2011 KENT R. DEMSHAR Kent R. Demshar, age 60, entered into rest April 26, 2011. He was born in Cleveland, was formerly of Eastlake and had resided in Mentor for 25 years. Kent had been employed at Mill-Rose Company and Copper Foil Corporation. He was a roadie for the "Raspberries" and the "Choir" back in the heyday of Cleveland Rock & Roll. He and his daughter Leigh shared a love of photography and cocker spaniels. Survivors are his wife of 38 years, Nancy (Bender) Demshar; and loving daughter, Leigh Demshar. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Mayme Demshar; and sister, Barbara Nadock. Private memorial services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are being handled by Blessing Cremation Center in Mentor. —News-Herald, May 1, 2011 __________ Does anyone from the old crowd remember him? Al K Posted May 2, 2011 Share Posted May 2, 2011 Yes, Sid, the band and crew have many fond memories of Kent, who along with Al Trevarthen, were the band's first two roadies in the early days.
