Al K
This should be fun...Let's list every TV show, commercial, movie or any video source that featured EC's music - solo or Raspberries. Include as much detail as you can. I'll start...

marathon mama
I loved hearing Eric's voice singing Hungry Eyes in the movie theater the first time I ever heard the song! During the movie Dirty Dancing, I was staring at the screen, thinking, that sounds like Eric, could it be??? It was a great movie but hearing Eric's voice was magnificent!I'm sure everyone has seen it, and it's pretty self-explanatory - Jennifer Grey plays the sheltered "Baby" who meets a dance instructor, "Johnny" (Patrick Swayze). Her wealthy family thinks he is not good enough for her but they fall in love anyway. Here is the scene where he begins teaching her to dance provocatively:
marathon mama
. . Who can describe the Super bowl ad that featured an EC song??Ready...GO!! That's easy - it was in 2007, the GM ad about a robot that dreams he was fired. It features the song All By Myself. (I found out about this ad from ericcarmen.com). Here is the video:

marathon mama
When I first heard Eric's voice briefly in the following Shrek movie trailer, I thought that the song All By Myself would be included in the movie, but Eric explained that it was only in the trailer. Attached is the video clip, you can fast forward to the 2:18 marker, if you cough or sneeze you might miss it, since there are only about 5 seconds of Eric singing:

Al K
The ad I was thinking about was a car commercial (?) where the scene was the front of a house and someone was in a bedroom window looking outside?I also remember a TV show from a couple of years ago, a cop show I think, where GATW was played almost in its entirety during a scene at the end of the episode where the cops were walking through a bar / club, probably looking for a "perp"...Then I think there's a scene from "Almost Famous" where the beginning of GATW is played...Does anyone remember these? marathon mama
I also like this thread. Should we start posting the less-obscure tv spots? My oldtimers disease is catching up with me... Yes, it sounds Go All The Way in the movie , but I couldn't find the video. There is also another movie "TO DIE FOR" which I loved, and I loved Nicole Kidman SO GREAT performance. I could not find a video either but, the Eric's ABM sounds when..."at her husband's funeral, Susanne steps morosely forwards and presses the play button on a tape recorder...which promptly blasts out 'All By Myself."
