marathon mama
I was in a rush so I didn't get to explain the thread as I intended. I know that most of the raspberries and eric solo songs about girls don't mention an actual name, but I thought it would be fun to list all the girls' names that we could think of.I could expand it to include any ways that gals are addressed in the songs, i.e., "girl", "mama", or whatever. Include the song title and the lyric from the song. Here is one, "Baby" in Let's Pretend : "BABY, let's pretend"

James
My little sister (the youngest one) is 8 years younger than me. Her name is Dee Dee. When "Change of Heart" came out in 1978 Dee Dee was like 11 or so. I'd play the song "Hey Deanie" for her.... and tell her the title was "Hey Dee Dee". We'd then sing together "Hey Dee Dee, won't you come out tonight.....". My sister loved that! Good memories.
