marathon mama
It might be interesting to note which of the Raspberries' and solo songs (and albums) have any of the four seasons mentioned in them. Winter Dreams as the name of an album came to my mind, along with I Can Remember, which cites more than one season. Which other songs or albums come to your minds? marathon mama
Right on, Darlene! I Can Remember is the only song that cites more than one season. The others listed above (On The Beach, Drivin' Around, Cruisin Music, and Top Down Summer all mention "summer".BTW, I Can Remember mentions three seasons, "winter" is the only one not in the lyrics. I thought of another "summer" song: Never Gonna Fall in Love Again - (The summer made it seem so right...)
marathon mama
I think we ran out of seasons... So I am expanding this thread to include other settings or places.I'll start with the classic song:"here tonight" in Go All The Way: "...being with you here tonight"

LobsterLvr
'Never Gonna Fall In Love Again" mentions TWO seasons: summer and "Fall". (rim shot!)
marathon mama
Great entries everyone - many other seasons were included that I hadn't thought of! And more than one season in some songs, except for Never Gonna "Fall" in Love Again , which only references "summer", "Fall in Love" doesn't count!
