Everybody, please pray pray.... for Hollies. He's my friend and it's very tough for him right now.

You see, the Steelers king....they're rolling. The Cavaliers?....they've lost 24 in a row (gosh)...

....AND Mary Tyler Moore just applied for admission to The James Harem!

Oh lands. How could it get any worse?..

Sincerely,

Hollies Friend,

James

They just anounced that they oversold tickets to 1,250 football fans. Not enough seats.

Some people can't get in, even though they bought a ticket-For $1,000 each. It might be standing room only for them, if they get in.

The oddsmakers have kept the Packers at -3 for about one week. Packers have to win by -3(a tie), or a -4 to win the bet. The casinos will make alot, if the Packers only win by 2 points, or a -2. Or, a +2 for the Steelers.

Right now, they have the Steelers at +3. (To lose by three or less). Or, some will play the money line, for the Steelers to win outright. Today, I saw that line at +120 to +130. $100 will win $120 to $130, depending if the bet was placed yesterday, or today.

I placed extra Super Bowl props wagers. I also had the Packers at -3 and +105, picked last sunday. I think that line is now -3, -130 to minus -140.

1)The first quarter, to be over 7 and-a-half points. 8 to win.

2)What type of first touchdown? The Packers, a passing TD.

3)First team to score and later to win the game, to the Packers

4)On the highest rated commercial during the game-Budweiser to win the ratings.

5)The Steelers scoring a total of 24 points in the game(That line went up as I bet, so I tripled my bet). It was at +800, then changed today to +801.

Hey Stig, can you help me out? My memory is escaping me this evening. I hate when that happens.

Anyway, can you refresh me on who won the 2 games played between the Browns and Steelers this year? And what were the scores?

Oh, one last thing, what was the Steelers final record? And the Browns?

haha

Sorry for the hassle, but sometimes my memory is not so good.

Thanks Stig!..

James

Here's how this goes...If anyone does not understand the feeling Browns fans have about stiller nation, they would probably write something like James just wrote...see James, you have no idea. That's okay, you're not a Browns fan, I don't expect you to understand. I'm a Browns fan, and we've never been to a Superbowl. I don't see anyone feeling sorry for us, and frankly, we don't need it, we're a tough town with tough people.Real Browns fans are brought up to hate the the stillers. A Pittsburgh loss is a Cleveland win. Hope that helps.

PS...You don't need to rush to my defense because The Stig said the Browns would never win in his lifetime.Just like The Stig, whose team was playing in the Superbowl, didn't need it.

Too funny James...

But since Im a giving guy, let me help you with your memory

28-10 and 41-9....from the team that has the most Super Bowl wins...but hats off to the Packers they played great.

could of been worse, it could of been the Cowboys who beat us last in 1996 but they are almost as bad as the Browns since they havent won since.

Mike C. is a betting genius! And my go-to guy for next season! I did OK today and finished only down $82 dollars for the full season...

The Steelers gave us quite a scare! They are a good team! Glad the Pack won!!!

Billy and Laura... how sweet it is! Vince has to be happy up there in the football heavens... and wasn't it nice to see Bart Starr's smiling face during the celebration? The Packers showed that all their moves, controversial and otherwise, during the past four or five seasons have paid off.

The Steelers were awesome, too. They played a great game, and with just one fewer turnover, they might have stolen that trophy back. But it was a green-and-gold night. And Aaron Rodgers sure rewarded Ted Thompson for his faith in him. He had a great night, even with a few dropped passes that would have beefed up his passing yards even more.

Anyway, that was the Packers' Lucky 13th NFL Championship!

(I hate when people refer to all the Super Bowl champs but forget about all the pre-Super Bowl title teams....)

PS: Mike C, good work on the betting. I'm going to have to shadow your bets next season! Cartmill, not so much. :-)

Tony, I think before yesterday, the ones I posted here were 15 wins and 5 losses. Adding yesterday's would be 7 more wins, and I think 2 losses. My extra bets were low. I wanted to make sure I wouldn't take a loss, in case I lost the Packers first two bets. At -3, +105 to win, and the over-the-total at 44.5. They won both sides.

Yesterday was my most bets. Two more that I won. NBA for Indiana, when I saw the -1 for them. That's a sign to see that -1. It means they will probably win, and score consistently and alot.

Then Tampa won in the NHL.

Well LC, I make sure I listen to sports radio in the day or late night. I have favorite teams, but I'm just trying to win.

I, also, actually look at the betting lines. I usually try to pick a few games. I write out the lines on the teams. It can take 30 minutes to an hour to decide. Then, I wait for an hour or two hours before a game to finally decide. Because the line might change to favor the other team. Or, I'll skip that game.
