James
Yeah, those versions of BAC and TRR are really strong. Would love to hear the full length version of TRR and hear Davey Johnston rocking & riffing it ! Thank you Naeko, James
Billy
I got this recording on cassette back in 1980 - I probably played it in my car 500 times. Back then getting anything with Eric live around here was very very rare! Almost 40 years.....yeesh!
Lew Bundles
Hey Bill, did you ever find out if that was really Eric you met in Orange/Milford that time?...I remember you saying he was doing some kind of record promotion deal and had mentioned to you that he had recorded a demo/song with Bryan Adams... LC
"Marathon Man" live—wow! It's such a great live-show number. The album version is different... more of a production. I've always loved the odd "feel" to MM as a recording, but live and in concert, it's a rollicking rocker. Very nice! Thank you, Naeko! James
He opened with MM when I saw him Fall 1977 in Dallas, opening for Hall & Oates.
LC
I missed that tour.... The first concert I went to was actually the next year, 1978 (ELO in Buffalo—the "Out of the Blue" spaceship tour).
