Let me know......

Hey Everyone, right now I am currently *in hospital* so I am not always 'up' to being here. I am not going into details as I know there is no need with friends like all of you here but it has come to a difficult point in my life and I want to offer everyone here a chance if and only if 'you so choose and are able too' ...by this statement I mean; I am selling off most of my Raspberries/Eric Carmen collection...the rest I am, of course, giving to my sis Valorie. I wanted to ask the truly loyal fans here first before I go the way of Ebay in which case 'any' one could acquire these rare items. If you are interested just pm me...I might not be able to reply right away...depends it may take me a day or so. Hope everyone is having an amazing 'top down' kinda summer!

Take Good Care,

*Vera*

Thank you so much my friends for your well wishes...right now that truly does mean alot to me...I don't care if you are interested or even financially able to purchase my items...just the fact that you took a minute out of your busy day to say, hey hang tough, is worth more than any $$ at least to me it is!! Please know, that I am NOT DYING, I AM very sick and am trying to 'fix' this through seeing a specialist out of province...thus, the financial concerns right now...health first...for now it is the way things must be. I am certain many of you 'have been there, done that'. I am thanking you all from the bottom of my heart!

Back home tonight in my own bed...did you guys know that hospital mattresses SUCK big time!! I see the specialist in about a month..saw her in Winnipeg on the 3rd of this month, came home and basically went straight into the hospital. Glad to be home with my family again though...my dog Wolfie was especially happy to see me and I, him. Thank you for your continued good thoughts, kind words and prayers.

Hmmm that's a tough call on what is worse Missm, good one! I guess that is one of those things you just have to 'suck it up' and deal right? Kinda like the way I also hate getting IV's put in all over and then you don't know how to lay with your hand/arm/foot wherever the manage to get a vein. But you are right, I just love when they don't even come to check your vitals, but just blare the flashlight on you and say 'oh I'm just checking to see if you are asleep'...well, hellllllloo I was!! LOL

All of that though is pretty insignificant ...there is only one thing that truly 'gets' to me when I am in hospital and that is having a nurse that looks like she or he would rather be ANYWHERE but there helping you.

Vera, some never-fail health advice:

1) Eat three balanced, nutritious meals every day,

2) Drink enough water to keep your urine clear, not yellow or amber,

3)Get 8 hours of sleep every night,

4)Mild exercise, even just walking, 30 min./day

5) FRESH vegetables and fruits every day

6) Know your blood type and avoid the foods that disagree with your type,

7)Take a general multivitamin/multimineral supplement daily as a good, cheap insurance policy.

These are basic things EVERY PERSON must do daily to maintain good health.

Vera, I just read this. I'm sorry you weren't feeling well. And so glad to know you're not dying! I'm also glad you're home and hope you recover quickly from this last bout.

I hope you are able to keep some of your EC memorabilia for enjoyment.

Please take care and follow Rob's great advice. (Thanks Rob, I'll follow it also).

God bless you and Val. You're both in my prayers.

:)--Love, Darlene

Hey Missm, I will check into it...after all, nothing ventured nothing gained, right?? Gosh I MUST stop using these corny metaphors. Rob, I start a chronic pain management group in November and am looking forward to getting taken off my 'extremely strong pain medication'. My best friend from college, her husband is also a chiropractor. I think I told you this before as he attended a University in Dubuque Iowa. I know when I WAS seeing a chiropractor here in town he gave me something to help alleviate my pain but I forget what it is called. All I know is that it worked well for a while...maybe it would have worked longer had I not had to stop going. That is one thing about me...I look at every aspect of the healing process...for it is a process and the first thing you need is to make sure you are on good terms with your 'mind'...then the body will follow. I guess I am just currently 'outta my mind' because the body is definately NOT following LOL!
