MJ
It's Diana Rigg from The Avengers - I have always been a huge Mrs. Peel fan.

Guest Fresh
Many people aren't aware that Diana Rigg was the replacement for Honor Blackman (Pussy Galore in Goldfinger) who played Steeds' partner Cathy Gale in the first 2 seasons of the Avengers, which were never seen in the US until many years later when the dvd collections were released. Diana Rigg was super-hot! She was replaced by Linda Thorson playing Tara King, who absolutely fell flat on her face in that role. The show died shortly thereafter. Guest Fresh
Bernie, I have never seen that clip before, but I can understand why it would have been edited out back in 1965. It is just full of sexual symbolism and taboos that were totally unacceptable on tv back then. Wow..that was some scene. She was drop-dead gorgeous! If they ran that scene unedited back in '65 here in the US, there would have been a mass exodus of teenage boys stampeding to the bathroom to, ahem, relieve themselves!! MJ
Diana Rigg's character Mrs. Peel.... when I first saw her was in 1966 - I was still playing with my Barbies big time but I knew life wasn't all about being a fashion model or an airline hostess or a stay home and have kids kind of woman - so her character really made me think about what you could be when you grew up (besides being sexy) but being intelligent and fairly equal to men at that point ..... so she kind of molded my thinking (perhaps this is why I am such a opinionated B*tch ahahaha).Anyway - I did watch all the Honor Blackman ones when they hosted the dvd Avengers on A & E and taped those episodes as well.... still Mrs. Peel had much more chemistry with Steed than with the other ladies.... I have some Tara episodes on dvd but she just couldn't cut it - she was too cutsey and didn't have the a-PEEL ahahahah... I have all the Emma Peel dvd's in a collection - I still watch them.... Top rated show - but the movie a few years back with Uma - it just sucked lol.
Guest Fresh
I agree MJ...the movie was SO SILLY. And the lead characters had none of the charisma of Patrick MacNee and Diana Rigg.
Guest Fresh
I think we should convince Eric to write a song to accompany the Diana Rigg "Queen of Evil" clip and turn it into a killer video!!!
MJ
He could do that - but only if Wallace plays lead guitar on it lol.
Tony Cartmill
Speaking of Brit Babes who made my "Big Ben Bang-a-Gong" as a teen, this sweetie could almost pass as Rigg's younger sister: http://www.flickr.com/photos/9067625@N03/2895498178/ http://www.celebrities-pictures.com/photo/v/female/Jenny+Agutter/Jenny+Agutter+29.jpg.htmlhttp://www.celebrities-pictures.com/photo/v/female/Jenny+Agutter/Jenny+Agutter+23.jpg.htmlhttp://www.celebrities-pictures.com/photo/v/female/Jenny+Agutter/Jenny+Agutter+22.jpg.htmlhttp://www.celebrities-pictures.com/photo/v/female/Jenny+Agutter/Jenny+Agutter+10.jpg.html
Guest Fresh
Jenny Agutter played the nurse/girlfriend of David Naughton(what ever happened to him?) in An American Werewolf in London.
missm
David Naughton had this song that charted. It was the theme song to his sit-com.
