Tiggsherby
I've been kind of out of the loop as of late and was wondering if someone could update me as to what happened or what is happening with my favorite musical artist of all time? I'll generally sign on and search for postings from Eric, specifically and it looks like they all but disappeared about 2 months ago. I hope all had a great holiday....here's wishing that all have a great New Year.

Tony Cartmill
Melancholy moods and depressing times can sometimes lead to "Boats Against The Current"-quality compositions. The big question is, "Can the old musical genius still channel the creativity from the right places and knock his fan's socks off?I know Eric doesn't need to prove anything musically anymore, but if you still got it, what better way to spend your time (after the Clayton/Kathryn-time, of course)? Reid C.
Yeah, 2009 ended with a whimper. A deeply introspective compostion(Hell, I'd even jump at one upbeat single!) would be a wonderful way to get things moving in this hopefully more upbeat year. Shelley
well, as much as I would love to see more music from EC. if he has decided not to perform anymore..I'm happy with what he has given us...He's Brilliant
simonecimar
Shelley, I couldn't agree more.... he has given us so much and has touched so many of our lives both through his music and by becoming friends with us (albeit virtually for many of us). If he would come out with something new, I would love to hear an original classical piece from Eric, for 2 reasons.... to hear what his brilliant musical talent would produce and second watch him perform the piece. One of my favorite things in regards to Eric is to watch him perform on the piano....I do miss his interaction with us and hope everyday he comes back. I worry about what is happening with him (just as I would worry about any friend that I am not hearing from) and am always looking for any news that tells us he is doing well. raspathens
Create an alias then write in some type of code so at least one of us will understand. You're smart, you can get out a message if you want to. If not, (don't want to get out a message that is) we'll hear from you someday I'm sure. missm
Ladies and Gentlemen - I am content to watch the Live on the Sunset Strip" DVD...unless a tour takes place. I am in full agreement with Tammy. We have all been so blessed to engage in dialog with Eric and to have him share his thoughts and humor with us. I particulary liked what he shared about Clayton's first girlfriend Sarah and what they would name their first child by using half of each of their names. Evidently, their firstborn would be named Saton - LOL.Yes, we miss Eric like we would miss any good friend who you've not seen for a while. missm
Thank you, Rob. You have been on the board longer than me so you know more about the whole "extended family" thing than me.

Tony Cartmill
Sorry...The Mature, Hot Bear came out of his cave and wished Bernie a happy birthday, marked his territory on a couple of rocks (to give the ladies a tease), went down to the river and caught some fish (Actually, the lady fish just jumped into his mouth), then went back into his winter hibernation... Henry
I'd like to hear EC's thoughts on "All By Myself" being included in some way in the as-yet-to-be released, new "Shrek" movie? Sounded like EC singing "All By Myself" on the trailer that I viewed this morning.
