frankenberrie
A version that sounds like a duet was just on the CBS series, twice. they picked up the tune a couple lines before the drum break. Still a few minutes left, maybe more to come?
Paulie Mississippi
I saw it too... it was modified to be "all by ourselves" in a couples relationship... I heard "ka-ching, Eric!"
frankenberrie
That's funny, I was only half paying attention, and didn't notice that! It's great how one song can continue on forever.
Brian Mc Carthy
Well I said it before, and I don't mind saying it again Remarkable staying power this song has. I don't know of any other song that has this. Most songs just sail away after their time. But all by myself has an element of eternity within it Cheers Brian
marathon mama
I agree about the element of eternity in "All By Myself". Eric's voice can be heard singing the climactic emotion-invoking line in the upcoming 3-D Shrek movie. (I saw the preview at the movie theater recently). It is a great song that fits into scenes about loneliness.
Eric Carmen
It's only in the trailer, for about 2 1/2 seconds.
raspathens
Did you and Sergei's kin make any jack on that 2 1/2 seconds?
missm
Thank you for the clarification, Eric. Now I don't have to sit through the entire film.
raspathens
That reminds me of how my brother Steve and I would sit through Don Kershner's Rock Concert just in case the Raspberries would come on. I'll never forget hearing my brother yelling from the family room on a Saturday night around 11:30 in late '74 as the piano intro. to Overnight Sensation started the show. DAVE, DAVE, get in here!! Man we loved the Raspberries!
