Raspbernie
Back in 2002, I was asked to help Eric design and assemble a songbook. Needless to say, the project never did get completed. I'm not sure why, but I was really sorry to see it shelved. Some of the songs Eric hand-picked for the collection had never appeared in sheet music, and Eric had plans to review the transcriptions for accuracy. Maybe it will eventually see the light of day. We can only hope. Bernie
Shelley
NICE Bernie, I hope one day that songbook gets published. EC is Hot

HT from Mo
That's why I chose that particular picture for my avatar!
darlene
I remember pre-ordering this songbook and was so disappointed that it never came out. I was dying to see Eric's real harmonies in print, hoping it wasn't arranged by a stock "staff arranger," because they simplify everything down to very "common" chord changes and miss the mark on the entire effect of the songs. The cover would have been enough reason to buy the songbook! Eric does indeed, as usual, look "hot." Thanks for putting this up, Bernie! --Dar
seattlesteve
Great harvest of some of his best work! Nice choices..
The Kiwi Connection
Even though I can't read music or play an instrument I would love to have such a book.
Reid C.
I'd just love to try to manage/mangle "Starting Over" on my piano. This just isn't fair.
Kirk
Ditto, Reid! Go back and listen to the piano/vocal demo of "Starting Over"- it's simple NOT!! One of Eric's finest piano compositions I had (have?) that songbook on pre-order, also. I keep waiting for an email confirmation that it's on the way
ECatw
That would have been one nice book! Ah yes, a very lovely cover too!
Dave from Equinox
I would love to have that book... Personally, I'd like to see "Love Is All That Matters" included as well as the entire piano solo in ABM (I've learned most of it by ear but there are things I'm still not getting after all these years). simonecimar
My kids have been listening to Eric and the Boys since they were babies. I have a couple that are really interested in music. How nice it would be to have such a work of fine art for them to learn from!!!

Paulie Mississippi
That book might have actually made me reacquaint myself with an instrument!

Nice design, Bernie.
