Sir Paul will be the inaugural concert at Citi Field on July 17 and 18. My hometown of Queens !! Tix go on sale on June 15. Don't know of the prices yet. He was the first and last at Shea. Now fittingly he's the first in the new digs.

I got VERY lucky this morning and pulled 19th row center tickets for Saturday night in the paulmccartney.com fan club pre-sale. It certainly pays to become members of the websites representing artists you'd love to see perform live. This will by the 5th time I've seen Paul. The first was Wings Across America at Madison Square Garden in '77!

Sigh! My husband was going to get us tickets as my birthday present. (How cool would it be to have McCartney sing "Birthday" ON your birthday!) Unfortunately I don't think my knee would hold up to all the walking (stress fracture & am still on crutches). My sister was at the Shea Stadium concert. I was jealous as hell. Took me 25 years, but I finally got to see him at MSG. My seats were so high up (about 4 rows from the top), that I jokingly referred to him as "the singing dot from Liverpool." It was worth the wait. The show was WONDERFUL! Saw him again at Giants Stadium. Another great show! Hearing "Can't Buy Me Love" live with 50,000 other fans singing & dancing along was truly a memory for a lifetime.

To those going, have a wonderful time. Hope you have great weather & we want a full report.

All right Bernie! We'll have to hook up somehow before the show....I, too and a PM.com member and got 9th row on the "field side" on the Rusty Anderson side.

If my damn van hadn't broken down and needed repair, I would have had more balance available on my credit card to try for center seats like you.

Part of me is just giddy that I'll be on the actual field that my beloved Mets play on...even if it is at the "new" Shea!

Me and GMan will be there on Saturday too Bernie...But we'll be sitting "Across The Universe" from you with our $59 dollar + handling fee ducats! haha

Yeah I already know and so do millions of people in the WFAN tristate area who heard you tell Richard Near Sunday morning on his radio call-in show. Be careful! You never know who is listening Ira.

Man, oh man! Paul McCartney has to be the BEST performer in the world today! Not to mention the fact that he's belting out letter-perfect renditions of super-extraordinary songs he originally sang (and wrote) as a twentysomething, all the while looking, well, exactly like himself—even down to the Beatles-style dark collarless jacket suit! How does he do it?!?

Ageless. Timeless. Powerful! Anyone who thinks the top of the litter of today's musicians is anything special needs to see Sir Paul! After one song, it's clear that he's so far above the par that I don't believe he is able to be categorized!

Last night we were also witness to one of the most touching things I have ever seen on a stage. Paul started "losing it" as he sang the final verse of "Here Today"--the song he wrote about John. Tears welled-up in his eyes...and mine. Afterwards, he explained that "somethings stuff like that catches me by surprise." Wow!

This guy (at 67!) played for 2-1/2 hours and rocked the joint to its foundation. If you think the Fab Faux do an awesome job recreating "A Day In The Life," you should see Paul and his band rip through the number!

I was sitting in the 12th row center and you needed a wristband to get to the field, so I never did get to hook up with Ira, although we did exchange some texts. In other words, while he clapped his hands, we were busy rattling our jewelry :-)

If you have the chance to see Paul this time around (he's only doing a few dates) RUN don't walk to see him! There's nothing like a Paul McCartney concert...well, 'cept for maybe a live performance of our favorite Cleveland mop-tops.

Well counting the one time I went to see a group more than one time during a given year (Raspberries)...Now it'll be two times in my life that I've gone to see a group more than once...only this time it'll be twice in a given WEEK!

I just bought a coupla ducats for Tuesday Night So's my 23 year old son Jeremy could see the Ol' Master..."Sir Paul"

Bernie...This time my tickets are a little better...If you're gonna in the jewelry rattlin' section again on Tuesday...I may be able to hear you rattlin' your trinkets in appreciation of Paul's rockin' numbers from my seats in the "These Ain't So Bad" Section of Citifield. smilie
