okstevens
I would play them a song they haven't heard before and don't tell them who it is. I once did this on the Side Three album. I skipped the opening song and let it play. The biggest skeptic ask who is this group. They were very surprised to find out it was the Raspberries. marvin
I actually posed this question as part of "Reflection 3" a couple of years ago. Received some very interesting feedback on it. My song choice was "Tonight."

You're new here and how are you supposed to know what has and hasn't been covered? There are many topics that we've addressed, and there's nothing wrong with bringing them up again. Tom
Tonight. The very epitome of power pop not performed by The Who. Big Star could have only dreamed of something this heavy, this seditious, this sensual. The greatest song most people have never listen to. GMan
"Tonight" is great....but I love the way "Ecstacy" kicks the door down. An attention grabber for sure.
Julie
"Tonight" sealed the deal for my husband--followed by "Ecstasy". For me, it was "I Can Remember"

Bessieboo
The first time I heard Go all the way, a little over two years ago I was hooked. For most my girlfriends I bought I was born to love you CD and first played, I wanna take forever tonight and Isn't it romantic, they all loved it.For the more intellectual gal-pals I gave the Boats against the Current Cd. Two of them did see the similarities to F Scott Fitzgerald and loved it,and one is just not into music - go figure I love GATW it's what brought me here. I know the other songs are not Raspberries songs, but these girls are not into the Raspberries.

Early Wynn
"I Can Hardly Believe You're Mine."My first introduction to Raspberries was the first four songs of "Starting Over." The only album I have where the first four songs grab you like that may be Born to Run (Thunder Road, 10th Ave. Freeze Out, Night, Backstreets), or Graham Parker's Squeezing Out Sparks (Discovering Japan, Local Girls, Nobody Hurts You, You Can't Be Too Strong).I'm going to be the lone voice campaigning for "I Can Hardly Believe You're Mine" to be included in any future Raspberries' shows.
