BEATNUT
Hey Chris, don't you mean Lo and Behold? HahahaAnyway, I heard that in the book May Pang explains how upset she was because her and John were supposed to buy a house together and he told her he was planning on getting back together with the Beatles. Then he left for the weekend to go back to NYC and got back together with Yoko. I remember reading how May was devastated. Is there any truth to that? I'm sure that's what I heard or something very similar.

chris hess
in my quick reading,i do'nt remember that..but before john's death,he was talking about getting together w/"the boys" again,he really was ready for it from what i'vve read from numerous stories and interviews..f'n tragic if that's the case...imagine....lol,chris

chris hess
beatnut, you are right about some of that after a second reading...may said that john had planned on surprising paul on his next album and write w/him again and shock the world!! it was'nt the beatles as a group.....and may and john were going to get a house, but broke up very shortly afterwards.also, john said he needed a little time before going into writing with paul..in other words,a lil breather at that time in his life..i cant imagine what could have been between them as songwriters again...c'mon raspberries, you are alive and "together" again..do'nt deprive the world of your music and say what could have been..food for thought everyone..lol,chris

seattlesteve
I still remeber the story when Paul paid a visit to Johns NYC pad one Saturday night, and Sat Night Live was on tv, and had the spoof on the Beatles reunion, and they were close to hoping a taxi and showing up. ($1,000 check, split it equally, or pay Ringo less, your choice)
