blackhawkpat
Explain to me why I need to use this. Is this better than ebay?I'm confused about buying from there. If I want to buy three items from what appears to be three different people, how do they calculate one shipping charge? Is Amazon guaranteeing I get the product?Tell me good and bad things about your experiences there. Thanks in advance to anyone who provides input. Guest Fresh
Excellent experience with Amazon.Never had a bad transaction in like 8 years of doing business with them.If you want to buy from an outside seller, they have ratings just like ebay.If you buy from amazon, you've nothing to worry about. James
Yeah, I buy a ton from there... it's been great.... prices low... never a problem with merchandise. I pay for shipping from each vendor I buy from....don't know a way around that. I haven't used E-Bay in years, but with Amazon.com there's no bidding...you click/purchase and wait for goodies to show up at your door!I mostly buy CDs but have bought a lot of other stuff there too. With CDs the shipping charge is fixed...with the other stuff it's not. One negative is I haven't figured out how to find the shipping charges on the non-CD stuff before ordering. After ordering the shipping charge is itemized on the receipt thing.
Guest Fresh
If you buy three different items from three different sellers, amazon will caculate the total charges for products and shipping and separate and send each seller the amount owed them.If you buy from amazon marketplace sellers, you are generally not eligible for shipping discounts that you get when buying directly from amazon. MJ
I like to pre-order from Amazon and buy a bunch of books and dvd's from them, plus sometimes it's much cheaper and you can get free shipping on some things as well.
elle4ec
I'm a Cookbook collector and I've bought a bunch from Amazon using outside sellers new/used link. Many times I've been able to get a brand-new book for a fraction of the retail price. I've found that most of the items listed as "like new" actually are new books, some are just overstocks and returns. I try to look for sellers with high ratings. The only downfall is the separate shipping costs for each seller. Amazon takes care of all the calculations.I've only had one problem with a seller sending me the wrong book. The seller refunded my money and I got to keep the book!
James
And there really are some steals on Amazon.com, especially for CDs..
elle4ec
How about DVD's for Harem training, James?
