Eric Carmen
Is this one as depressing as "Million Dollar Baby"? I was ready for a cyanide pill when I left the theater after that one.
hollies65
I refused to see 'Million Dollar Baby' when I found out the story on it. Gran Torino is a fine story...and If it's Clint's last film...a fitting and excellent finale. Highly recommended.
hollies65
Also the theatre was PACKED! Surprising, since the movie made 30 million last week, it has real legs.
MJ
Yes Million Dollar Baby was a very depressing story... I do believe I cried during that one - I really like almost all the movies that Clint directs or stars in though. He's a damn fine director in my book. Kirk
The guy just has 'likeability'. I don't care if he's acting or directing, Spaghetti Westerns to Comedy, I like just about everything he's done.
Mood Indigo
saw it this afternoon, very good movie.
sllvnbil
me & Debbie saw it this afternoon. We thought it was great. A lot of strong language and racial content, but very compelling story. That's all I'll say about it.
