Muzza
Quote: um, Muz?? Your Kiwi has some might strange combos there. Is she trying to tell us that she's preggers? Sheesh.. I hope not If she is it will be an Immaculate Conception I'll settle for just having Grandies now...well my kids having them and me enjoying them. darlene
When we were just little tots, my cousins introduced me to (you're gonna say "UGH!") MAYONNAISE sandwiches. It has to be Hellman's though. Nothing else tastes good.I thought I'd grow out of this, however, I didn't. When I've been in bed with a migraine headache, and I wake up in the middle of the night to find that the pain has just lifted after three days and I'm hungry, guess what I sneak into the fridge to get? A mayonnaise sandwich and a glass of coke. I say "sneak" because Herman thinks it's awful. But nothing in the world tastes better to me at those moments.THAT'S why I can't lose weight. And, Kath, you thought it was all your CHEESE! --Dar
Muzza
Darlene, I know what you mean about having to "sneak" into the fridge. I often have to do it... you know to have some Olives stuffed with Blue cheese or Garlic Flavoured Mussels. Things Kiwi thinks are disgusting. And then I turn around to see her standing in the doorway, hands on hips, shaking her head. Muzza

Please don't be so hard on Kiwi! She's a chick...and you must allow for that fact...and that they can't help themselves...and that it's in their genetics..Jeeez... I'm way too understanding of human frailties..

julesberry
When I was a kid we would have Miracle Whip and peanut butter sandwiches or Crushed potato chip and Miracle Whip sandwiches. What were we thinking? Now anything but those combos sounds good. I too am a fan of the BLT, hold the B sandwiches. Who needs the B when you've got a tomato straight out of the garden. Can't wait. Yum.Since we might have 8 inches of snow tonight, it's going to be awhile.
HT from Mo
Jules,I remember the Miracle Whip sandwiches - now looking back... eww....My youngest daughter likes jelly sandwiches - she puts both strawberry and grape jelly.- YUCK!Although, she loves just tuna and Miracle Whip - no bread - YUM! This however grosses out my oldest daughter - 10 yr old - very fun for the 7 yr old!Any one have other odd combination sandwiches that you either loved as a kid or your children love?HT
JumpMan
My fav-Peanut butter, grape jelly, swiss cheese, green olives, jalapeno or bananna peppers, dark mustard and barbecue potato chips for some crunch. Yum! My brother calls it the "Garbage Sandwich".Sometimes just the jalapeno's alone would be great!
