teragram
Has anyone heard the new Christmas song by George Michael? It's available free for download on Christmas day on his website, but it can be heard on Youtube, although the quality isn't brilliant. It's called December Song. When it gets into your head, it'll stay there. Great song.
Paulie Mississippi
Haven't heard it... and probably won't since the thought of George dressed as Santa with little boys sitting in his lap just popped into my head...
teragram
Who said George was into little boys. Because he is gay doesn't make him a pervert. You should listen to the song and think of the great songwriting that's involved, and enjoy it.
angelina
Hi tera:I think there is too much "production" on George's vocals for my liking. That could be due to the awful youtube quality. I can't deny that the guy had an amazing voice back in the day.I'll give it a few more listens. Thanks John
teragram
Good on you John, and while you're at it, look up the track "Heal the pain" duet with Paul McCartney. Excellent.
angelina
I always liked George Michael's version of "Tonight" (the Elton John song from Blue Moves). In fact wasn't there talk years ago of George fronting Queen for a world tour?
teragram
Yes, there was talk of that but, I think it would be silly. That would be like Garth Brooks taking the place of John Lennon.

I don't know how you can say this -- yeah, Garth Brooks taking John Lennon's place is pretty bizarre, but not many can duplicate Freddie Mercury -- Michael is one that can or come real close. Check out him doing "Somebody To Love" with Queen and tell me that he sounds silly.
teragram
Seen it Billy, he does it very well, but even He would admit to not being able to sing Queen songs anywhere near as good as Fred. Different ball game altogether. I don't know how you can use the word "Duplicate".
Billy
Matter of opinion teragram...guess we would have to ask Brian and Roger about this. There was talk about George Michael fronting them awhile ago, before they sigined on Paul Rodgers.
