"When this old world starts gettin' me down,

And people are just too much for me to face.

I climb way up to the top of the stairs,

And all my cares just drift into cyberspace.

On this site it's cool as it can be,

And everyone who's here,

They love E.C.-like me!

Enjoy,Enjoy.ALL the Best!

Darn you, Kathy, I wanted to say that first lol, oh well.

Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Happy holidays and God Bless us every one.

This has been a great Raspberrie year for all of us on the boards thanks to so many people. If I try to mention everyone, I'll probably forget someone, so I won't.

Jim, Eric, Dave, Wally, OverDubs, Crew, Bernie, Kathy, Ken and Gene and everyone's family, have a great holiday season and know that you have given us so much more than we could ever repay.

Thanks again.,

Thanks, to everyone on this site.

The history of Chanukah: The story is about the revolt that happened, because the Jewish religion was not allowed to be practiced. Rabbi's were threatened or killed. A Syrian-Greek army came in, and sacrificied pigs on the altars of many temples. They also took or destroyed many things in the temples. One day Judah Macabee had enough, and fought the soldiers, with his sons and won, by going town-to-town, while others joined them to gain freedom, again. The story of the menorah is that in that past time, there was not enough oil for the candles of the menorah to stay lit. The miracle, as it is described, tells of how the oil lasted eight days, when it shouldn't have. The ninth candle, called the shamas, or servant candle, lights all of the others, one for each night that the original candle lasted. The light of God is always greater than the darkness of night.

Beautiful, Ira. I celebrate both. I bought a new menorah this week. It looks like a small town, and it's colourful and broad. And celebrating Chanukah, or Hanukah, is alot of fun. My mom told me about my heritage, but I learned Christianity first. It was a "hush-hush" type of thing, knowing my heritage, because of history.

Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah to all who celebrate. Wishing all of you peace and blessings in 2006.

As a fairly new Raspberries fan, I was standing tall wearing my brand new Raspberries t-shirt at a Christmas party my sister threw on the 25th. I didn't know any of the guests there(her friends) but many of them commented that they really liked my shirt and inquired about it (I got the one that says "They said it would never happen, they were wrong" on the back). I got a chance to talk about the band and their great music. Many of the people that were there are old enough to remember Raspberries 30 years ago. It brought back many memories for some. Told them about the reunion and to go get their CD(s). I brought a couple of my Raspberries/Eric Carmen CD's, but that group is into swing dancing and already had music picked out. Oh well, maybe next party.

Anyway, have a safe and happy newyear everyone! God bless all of you.
