darlene
Beatlebum, you have a great list! I love "She's Not There" and when I was young, I must have *worn out* Lulu's "Oh Me, Oh My!"Tommy, Jan & Dean's Echo Beach...and Beach Baby. Catch A Wave... I always thought of "Don't Worry Baby" and "God Only Knows" as summer songs. And of course, there WAS "Summer Song." I think I wore out that track on my Lettermen album! --Darlene

darlene
Phil, Your list reminded me of my teen heart-throb, Brian Hyland. "Sealed With A Kiss" was my BIG summer song, when I was *very young." And I actually went out and bought an "itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini" when I was 19!Mine was yellow with pink polka dots, but I never knew if he meant a YELLOW polka-dot bikini (which is what *I* had), or a YELLOW POLKA-DOT bikini...hee-hee --Darlene
Matthew C. Clark
The song "Graduation Day" was also done by The Arbors (which was formed at the University Of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan) which went to # 59 (Hot 100) & # 19 (AC Charts) (on Date Records) back in June of 1967.
