"Synecdoche, New York"

Recommended Posts

Just saw this flick last night - starring Phillip Seymour Hoffman, and written/directed by Charlie Kaufman, who's known for writing, shall we say, rather bizarre screenplays ("Being John Malkovivh", "Adaptation", and "Eternal Sunshine of the Sptoless Mind").

Without a doubt, this one's his craziest! It would be very, very hard to describe exactly what this film's about....and partly because I'm not really too sure at this point! I do know I liked it, and found it eminently entertaining, but it's definitely not for everyone. This could get nominated for tons of awards, or ignored completely. If anyone here sees it, please post your thoughts....(warning - at least 6 people walked out midway through it at the theater I was at).
