marie
I tend to be a bit of a lead foot driver, and hearing the perfect song on the perfect stretch of highway can be completely irresistable - I have to speed. My question is, what song(s) make your heart race behind the wheel and your foot meet the floor board? As for me: Immigrant song, Go all the way, Say Goodbye to Hollywood
marlene
This IS a fun topic ! "I Wanna Be With You" has got to be my favorite "driving a little too fast/singing along with" song...
TOMMY TUNES
Thunder Road / Bruce Springsteen not so much that it makes me speed but I put it up loud, sing along and I forget where I am.

marie
These are ALL terrific songs to speed to. There are a couple I am unfamiliar with that I am going to check out (that one by Oingo Boingo and also Butch Walker).
raspberrywine
Great choices. Past six months or so Ive have actually relied upon "I Wanna Be With You" and loads of caffeine to get me to work in a coherent and awake state. So that has to be my first choice also.Other good ones to ensure waking up,and useful after a late night, though not necessarily palatable real early in the morning:(1) Under My Wheels(2) Kick Out the Jams(3) My Generation(4) Whole Lotta LoveGreat good weather driving:(1) Dont Worry Baby(2) Theme from a Summers Place(3) Do you know the Way to San Jose(4) I Feel Fine(5) Galveston

marie
I'll drink to that, Tony. Like raspberrywine I also have getting to work music. Certain songs are like tools used to get a job done or done right, whether it is house cleaning or towing a friend out of the mud.
