JohnO
I do love "Curb Your Enthusiasm"....it's Seinfeld in overdrive, and on HBO to boot, so they don't have to worry about censorship for the most part....P.S. The key to enjoying Seinfeld if you can't really stand JS's stand-up comedy is to ignore him...he was more or less just the straight man in that show anyway. blackhawkpat
Pat,That episode of Fraser was hilarious! I also liked the episode in the woods! Deb Best line is when Frazier explains he is not gay to his dinner guest. The program director says "Really? But, you like the opera and cultural things like that. Your dad's not gay either? But, Niles?.....COME ON!"

It's ironic that I think Jerry is just okay as a standup comedian and I was really never a fan of Larry David when he was on "Friday's", but those parts (and LD's writing) are just perfect for each of them. I could watch "Curb" all day. His mannerisms and voice inflections ("Pretty, pretty good")add so much to the character.Does everyone know that when George works for the Yankees, the voice of George Steinbrenner is Larry David? ECatw
I loved Frasier, though I missed the last 2 years or so. (There was something on at the same time.) One of my favorite episodes was the one with Noel teaching Frasier to speak Klingon at his son's Bar Mitzvah. Frasier thought it was Hebrew. The other one was the ski trip and everyone was trying to hook up with the wrong partner.

aggiesjc
Have always loved "Frasier," and have recently gotten hooked on "Gilmore Girls."
Tony Cartmill
Why do the Gilmore Girls talk like they are trying to cram a 1 1/2 hour script into 1 hour?It doesn't sound natural. Yet, the girls are good natural actors in other things I've seen...
darlene
Me too, Missy. That 70s show is really funny. I began staying up late on school nights just to see it. You're right, Missy. Time was when life was much simpler, and the kids seemed happier.I love "October Road," which stars Laura Prepon (Donna from That 70s show). I hope that continues. I also liked What About Brian? but that discontinued.Have been relishing the reruns of RESCUE ME (you too, AnnieK?!) since they heralded the return of what they hypred as "minisdes" of it. BIG disappointment though -- the Minisodes are only FIVE minutes including the theme song! What's up with that? It supposedly returns in January. I'm waiting with baited breath! --Darlene
Guest
1.) The Golden Girls -- Ma could say anything that came to her mind because she had had a stroke! (I can't get away with ANYTHING!)2.) MASH -- I know all the lines.3.) All in the Family. (We always knew the joke was on Archie, even when I was 14.)4.) Will and Grace.5.) Wings. No sense making excuses, because we all have our own, right? I could use a little infusion of Malcolm in The Middle, just to remind myself that PARENTS are THE BOSS, not CPS. The ear tug really works! The youngest child reminds me of my son who's going to hospital again soon. Smart, crazy but true logic, and funny.
