Billy
God bless Reggie, who died this morning of a heart attack. As a life long Green Bay Packer fan, this is a very sad end to the weekend. Not only a great player but a great man. Waive the five year rule for the Hall of Fame and induct him now.
Tiggsherby
Reggie was a Philadelphia legend. If there were a Hall of Fame for the "good guys" in life, Reggie White would be one of the first inducted.I agree, the Football HOF should honor him NOW!RIP, Reggie--you accomplished more in your short life than most...and that doesn't include your football accomplishments! Craig Benfer
When my oldest was son was just a little boy, he once referred to him as "White Wedgie" which made us all laugh.

Tony Cartmill
Great player and from what I've heard, a great person. I hope steroid affects were not a factor...
darlene
I felt very saddened when I heard about Reggie's death today. He sounded like he was an angel on earth. Now he's one in heaven...--Darlene
gordharris
Hello Tonyc, I don't think steroids were an effect huh, Only the football.Maybe it was too much for him.He sure was a tough player.
Laura
It sounds like they are not exactly sure what caused his death, either respiratory failure from sleep apnea or a sudden heart attack. Reggie was a great player, and I'm sure everyone will miss him. As a Packer fan, I know I will. 43 is way too young for anyone to die. He was a class act and a great motivator on the football field. Green Bay was not a place that anyone wanted to play, especially young, black football players. He helped to change that and make it a place where people want to play and made the football team turn a corner. He and Brett Favre made the Packers what they are today. RIP Reggie.
