Building on an idea proposed by my pal Popdude on a different thread I would love to have your ideas for a CD to get me (and others) through our current situation (wife leaving us). While most of the songs mentioned so far centered around the evil woman syndrome I would love to see more positive inspirational Tunes.

I also like Popdude's idea of building on Ira's suggestion. Maybe we should start a thread dedicated to selection of material to be included on the CD-R.

Maybe another "Liar" - this time by Three Dog Night.

Or "I'll Never Fall in Love Again" - Dionne Warwick.

Or...in keeping a bit on topic with this board...

OK, here's a positive one...or at least a "I'm gonna be OK" song.

By Request by Billy Vera and The Beaters is one of my favorite non-EC albums. Not a solid album, nine songs of which six are mediocre (at best)...but, oh, those other three are great! At This Moment is the one everybody has heard...made famous on Family Ties. The other two are two of the best songs that nobody has heard...right up there with Boats Against The Current. Hopeless Romantic and this gem...Here Comes The Dawn. HCTD's message is, IMO, no matter how dark it gets, the dawn is coming (others might not see it that way...what do I know...I think Boats is a positive song). Vera's only problem with these three songs is that he can't end them. At This Moment was cut down for radio and HCTD runs over 11 minutes. The first 8-9 minutes are perfect but then it just goes on and on (like some of my posts!). Still a great song. I don't have a link to the song...here are the lyrics:
