Matthew C. Clark
The group called Prism had a song called "A Night To Remember" from the album "Armageddon" from 1979. I do have the CD "Over 60 Minutes With" (greatest hits) that I bought in Sarnia, Ontario back in 1998. That song reminds me of the Backstreet Boys' "Shape Of My Heart" from "Black And Blue" (2000). I wish I could give the song to those guys & songwriter Max Martin but I don't think they'll respond to my e-mail. Matt
marvin
I believe that the lead singer of Prism passed away a few years ago. Their main songwriter was Jim Vallance - also at one time Bryan Adams' co-writer.MARVIN
Matthew C. Clark
You're right Marvin, lead singer Ron Tabak (1976-1980) was involved in a motorcycle accident & died of a brain hemorrhage while in police custody back in 1984. Producer Bruce Fairbairn committed suicide at the age of 49 back in May 17, 1999. Bruce is in the Canadian Music Hall Of Fame back in April of 2000. Loverboy lead singer Mike Reno pay tribute to the producer at the Juno Awards show. Matt
Julie
Matt--is that the same Bruce Fairbairn that was an actor on "The Rookies" or is it just a name coincidence??? --Julie
marvin
Julie that's not the same Bruce Fairbairn. This one (the producer) was very successful in Canada and was the producer of some major recordings. Regards,MARVIN
