Muzza
I know only a few are interested but here goes. Firstly will the LA people get outside and stop the rain so we can get this great Race at Fontana finished under the green. Some great dicing happening with Kinseth, Gordon, Biffle and Johnson among the main contenders. Who will it be? Last weeks Daytona 500 winner or can Gordon finally get a win again? Oh yeah... and watch out for the 18 car.Muzza
Steeler Deb
I'm rooting for Tony Stewart. I saw Daytona last week...I never imagined that Junior would have been knocked out.deborah
Muzza
And so there it is folks......1 - Matt Kinseth2 - Jeff Gordon3 - Kyle BuschThis was certainly a better race than the 500 and more potential winners going into the final 20 laps. And Kinseth becomes only 5th driver ever to win the Daytona 50 and then the next race. Deborah, Stewart's 8th was a great effort considering they are such a new team. It will be interesting to see how the season turns out for them. Junior just can't any decent luck at the moment.Muzza
Kirk
I think some of those 'rain' cautions were used by Nascar to tighten things up a bit. They used to use 'debris on the track' for that, but TV coverage is so good now they can't use that one if there are no debris out there. Pretty good race, though. Muzza
Hey... I just looked at the IRL schedule. Muzza
Well the Shelby 427 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been run and Kyle Busch takes it, with Bowyer second and Burton third. I wonder how Burton feels about getting done by his team mate?Gordon did well to get 6th after his dramas entering the pits and Jimmy Johnson can't buy a decent finish yet. Now things can move on.Muzza
Muzza
Now to Atlanta Motor Speedway and there's that name again except it's the other one this time.1 - KURT Busch2 - Jeff Gordon3 - Carl Edwards4 - Harvick5 - BowyerWith Gordon and Bowyer being repeat names in the top three the others will have to watch out or they may do a runner on the field. Now the Bristol in Tennessee which can throw a few curves balls.Muzza
Guest
Muzz, no plans to visit Phoenix's P.I.R. while your here? I worked a couple of races for the "Speed Channel" several years ago and didn't wear ear protection...duh.
Muzza
I wish. Unfortunately we had to modify the schedule due to a number of factors. I think I mentioned in another thread that I can't believe I will be in the States when the Indy 500 is on and won't be going to it.
